Window wells come in two types: Egress (people need to be able to climb out) and Non-egress (usually just light comes in and access is not required). In Egress window wells we can design and build a decorative stacked stone window well with built in foot holds for an emergency escape. The walls look great but in a crisis help facilitate climbing out of the window well. Some non-egress window wells simply need regrading, a stone edging, or lower stacked stone wall to dress them up and protect against water intrusion.
