This project required mixing both man made stone and natural stone products, along with wet set and dry set techniques.  The main backdrop wall is Vanderbilt natural stone veneer. The curved retaining walls are Techo-Bloc Quarry Stone in Champlain Grey. Since the paver stone is a rougher more natural look with complementary colors to the natural Vanderbilt stone, the overall impact is a very cohesive look. The cap stones on the retaining walls are fashioned out of Pennsylvania Thermal Flagstone. PA Thermal is a natural stone that has been flame treated for a more formal and finished effect. They tie in nicely with the custom built outdoor kitchen featuring Wolf appliances, and custom made PA Thermal flagstone counters with bullnose edging.

The main patio is Old World Flagstone in Appalachian Grey. The patio is dryset with polymeric sand in the joints. We installed Sterling brand lighting throughout the project including in the steps, walls, benches and kitchen.
