History
Founded in 1994 by Jeff Reynolds, Custom Stonescaping is the original Northern Virginia Stonescaper. In 2014, Custom Stonescaping found it’s new permanent home in Jeff’s Grandmother’s house. Wanting to keep some of its nostalgic qualities, the home was renovated while keeping memorable parts intact, including the stone fireplace and the wooden floors. The front yard was transformed into a beautiful showroom, that is often the neighborhood hangout.

Meet Jeff Reynolds
Founder, Owner and Landscape Designer
Jeff Reynolds is a native of Falls Church graduating from Falls Church High in 1987, Virginia Tech in 1991 and earned his Masters degree from Virginia Tech in 2000. Jeff is Northern Virginia’s original Stonescaper, designing and installing landscaping and stonescaping for the Northern Virginia area since 1994. Jeff currently oversees 8 highly trained and equipped installation teams with the assistance of his design team. Jeff has designed multiple award-winning trade show displays, and has created wonderful designs for schools, nature centers, churches, parks, and businesses in addition to over 30 years of residential projects. Teaching landscaping classes throughout the years to help homeowners understand the fundamentals of stonework design has been a great way for Jeff to merge his design and teaching talents. Jeff still meets with clients personally to guide them through the entire process from initial concept to finished installation.

Meet the Elephants
With a love for elephants, Jeff chose this majestic animal as the company’s logo, which you can find throughout the showroom including Baby Tusko who sits atop the classic Ford pickup truck out front, Big Bob hangs out near the fire pit and Henry can be found in the office.
