Ornamental trees are designed to provide height, color, texture, flowers, and a focal point to a space without over powering it. Many ornamental trees are 20 feet in height or less, meaning the root system is not invasive, the leaves are not a major clean up, the shade will not severely impact lawns, and the chances of falling an destroying something are minimal. Many clients choose crape myrtles, dogwoods, and Japanese maples for some of all of these reasons. Their are many specialty ornamental fruit trees, or bonsai trained trees that can be spectacular in a landscape.
